The Vicksburg Inn, a brick Victorian mansion built in 1886 for Joseph Raudenbush, a prosperous local businessman, still retains the splendor of a bygone era.  Original woodwork of cherry, walnut, chestnut and oak, stained glass windows, and etched glass doors complement the high ceilings of the spacious interior while gingerbread trim enhances the original windows and beckoning front porch.

Large, comfortable guest rooms feature queen size beds and some interesting antiques. The living room, complete with baby grand, provides an inviting atmosphere for reading or just relaxing, while the parlor is a cozy retreat for watching TV and enjoying a cup of tea or glass of wine. In the morning, the light filled dining room beckons guests to partake of a sumptuous breakfast. In warmer months guests may while away their time on the front porch rockers. Shaded by century-old horse chestnut trees, the porch is the ideal place for watching a passing horse and buggy while enjoying a morning cup of coffee or tea.
